Ok, butts off the couch!!!! I would like to start a training challenge for the month of March. Most people think of training as a dedicated half an hour, hour or two hours of training. That is why many people fail at consistent training. Life has a way of getting in the way! So, I would like to challenge you with a training method that I have preached for years at Mantis Masters Academy. It is the TV commercial workout. Ok, you are watching LAST MAN STANDING or reruns of GOLDEN GIRLS (I know you are MVS) and a commercial comes on. Pop off that couch and practice a fighting combination or run through a form during the commercial. An LA Times article noted that a one hour length television program has an average of fifteen minutes of commercial time. So, you could get 15 reps of a form during an episode of THE FLASH. Perhaps you could even squeeze in forty-five reps of a fighting combination during reruns of SEX & THE CITY (Tye Botting). I hope this will inspire you to get a consistent, daily workout. LET'S DO THIS!!!

Excellent suggestion, and exactly along the lines of what I used to do with stance training and stretching. I'm in! No more fast-forwarding past the DVR'd commercials. ;-)
